On Saturday, March 11, 2017 join the Friends of the Lincoln Community Forest and Bayfield Regional Conservancy for an afternoon of activities and fun for the whole family.
The day begins at 1:00 with a hike or ski in the Lincoln Community Forest, as weather and snowfall permits. The interpretive hike will be led by conservation experts in the fields of forestry and watershed function. Bayfield Regional Conservancy will provide light snacks and beverages at the trailhead. All ages welcome!
After the hike, we gather at Four Corners Food and Spirits to visit with members of the Friends Group and Bayfield Regional Conservancy. Stay until 4:00 for The Friends of the Lincoln Community Forest annual membership meeting. Learn about activities and accomplishments on the Community Forest and see dramatic pictures of the Marengo River valley after last July’s flood. Stay for tacos and pizza, or order off the menu.
