It starts at 3 pm on July 1 with hiking in the Lincoln Community Forest or on Mark and Pam Dryer’s property 28340 Kyster Road, Mason. They are hosting the event and their home is south of Four Corners Saloon about five miles. There are some incredible views of the Marengo River afforded by last year’s flood damage.
The Band plays at 6, but before then are lots of lawn games, outdoor pizza making and other food (BYOB) and a silent auction under the tent. It all finishes with music and a bonfire. There is no fee, but it is a fundraiser for the Friends of the Lincoln Community Forest’s operating expenses. Looks to be a fun time. Hope you can make it.
If you need directions, I can help. Have a good summer. I’ll let you know if and when the band is back out.
